Refuge for Women exists to empower sexually exploited women to live a life of freedom through long-term, residential healing programs. By offering multiple years of restorative care at no cost to the survivor, women are able to make a permanent exit from the sex industry. Our continuum of care includes Emergency Housing, Long-Term Care, and Transitional Living, each designed to meet women where they are and walk with them as they rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
In March of 2025, River Landings so graciously hosted Refuge for Women, providing an extraordinary opportunity for us to share this mission and raise more than $55,000 in support of the women we serve. Because Refuge for Women relies solely on the generosity of individual donors and private charitable foundations to sustain our operating budget, the impact of this gathering was significant not only in raising financial support but also in advancing the mission at the heart of what we do.
Equally meaningful, our time at River Landings allowed us to develop friendships and build networks with some of the most remarkable individuals in their community. The hospitality extended to us created an atmosphere where genuine relationships could flourish, laying the foundation for lasting partnerships that will continue to make freedom possible for survivors for years to come. We remain deeply grateful for both the generosity and the relationships formed through this event.
